Your read it right! Three of us - Jodie Barbour, Judith Akins and I - provided some music this past Saturday afternoon at the Whatcom Farm Coop on the Southside. WFC was putting on a seminar about raising backyard chickens which brings to mind "Cluck Old Hen" in Em, right? Not the most logical of segways, I have to admit, but the hour long set of our music was very well received. Click above on "Club Pics" to check us out! Later . . .

Starting at 11AM on Saturdays, Dan Maher hosts "Inland Folk" on NPR stations throughout Washingston. On the South side of Bellingham, I listen to it on FM 91.7. You can also listen on your computer at http://www.nwpr.org/programs/inland-folk-dan-maher. It's a great listen . . .

February, 2013 BDC Meeting Report
Great Club meeting yesterday. First, we shared D-Mixolydian versions of "Kumbayah in D" and "Skye Boat Song in G". Then we played seven Club tunes, everything from "Cluck Old Hen in Em" to "You Are My Sunshine in D". Revisiting "Mississippi Sawyer in D" and "John Stinson #2 in D" was certainly great fun! It was great to meet "first-timer" Andy Whitmore from BC and have Margaret Harshfield and John Simurdak back from way down south of Bellingham. Later . . .
