Flu notwithstanding, six healthy ladies attended the Club meeting yesterday. First, we took a run at a two dulcimer rendition of "You Are My Sunshine". Then Club members Pat Maden and Judith Atkins shared "Spanish Is a Loving Tongue" and "Amazing Grace" with us. And, as always, it was great to revisit familiar tunes like "Harrison Town", "Lady Mary" and "Old Molly Hare". We look forward to learning what Judith opts to challenge us with next month. Later . . .
The Bellingham Dulcimer Club - aka the BDC - is located in the City of Bellingham in Whatcom County in Washington State. Club members are local folks with a shared interest in the Appalachian mountain dulcimer. Club activities include meetings/song circles on most 2nd Saturday afternoons of the month and performances of dulcimer music at venues within the County.
